How to play

Player 1 holds W (or Up Arrow in single-player). Player 2 holds Up Arrow. Release the button just before the step becomes too long to avoid falling; reach the finish line first to win.

About Balanced Running

In Balanced Running, you control a puppet’s forward movement by pressing and holding a button. The longer you hold, the longer the step—but overextend, and the puppet topples. The challenge lies in judging the perfect hold duration to maintain momentum while staying upright. A two-player mode lets you race a friend on the same device, each using a dedicated key. The simple mechanic demands precise timing, making it a quick test of rhythm and restraint rather than speed.
