Infiltration of the Police Base is a 3D action-stealth game. You control a thief sneaking through a heavily guarded police facility to steal items and information. Each stage is a series of offices, corridors, and secured rooms patrolled by officers and monitored by cameras. Staying hidden is often safer than fighting, but an arsenal of pistols, rifles, and grenades lets you shoot your way out when cornered. To bypass locked doors and alarms you carry lockpicks, hacking devices, and smoke bombs. Guards react to noise and suspicious behaviour, forcing you to watch patrol patterns and time your movements. Progress brings tougher security and opportunities to upgrade your equipment. Short cutscenes between levels advance the story, explaining why the break-in matters and what is at stake.
