Piggy vs Watermelon is a single-screen arcade shooter. You control a pig at the bottom of a garden, moving left and right with the mouse. Watermelons rain down from above; you shoot them by clicking or holding the button. Each watermelon bursts in a red explosion with flying rind pieces. If a watermelon reaches you, the game ends and you can restart. The garden is split into nine sections purely for decoration. The gameplay is straightforward, requiring only dodging and aiming. It provides a short burst of action without any additional modes.
