Scooby Shaggy Run is a side-scrolling endless runner styled after the comic chase sequences from the Scooby-Doo cartoons. The player controls both Scooby-Doo and Shaggy as they bound across the screen, automatically running away from pursuing ghosts. Tapping the screen makes them jump to clear obstacles that block the path. The ghosts give chase relentlessly; collide with any obstacle or ghost and the pair are caught. It is a simple test of timing with no power-ups or varied environments. The cartoon visuals and familiar characters add charm, but the gameplay remains basic.
