How to play

On desktop, move the mouse cursor to steer the snake and hold the left mouse button to dash. On mobile, use the on-screen turn and dash buttons. Eat magic food to grow and dash into enemy snakes to destroy them for points, surviving as long as possible.

About Snake YO

Snake YO is a top-down arcade game in which the player controls a snake that must eat magic food to increase its size. Enemy snakes roam the arena, and the snake can perform a dash—a sudden burst of speed—to destroy them on contact, earning points. The dash is a risky manoeuvre that leaves the snake vulnerable if mistimed. There are no levels or end goal; play continues until the snake collides with a hazard or itself. The game records the player’s best score, encouraging repeat attempts to outdo it. The combination of classic growth mechanics and aggressive enemy takedowns sets it apart from traditional snake games.
