Shelter Dog Wouldn't Stop Growing, So the Vet Performed a DNA Test
His Lady Friend
Yuki the wolfdog adored the women in his life, but it looks like he loved more than just them. Yuki met Bella in the Shy Wolf Sanctuary after a few months of living there. These two wolfdogs were inseparable. They followed each other everywhere and even became famous as a social media pair. In general, it looked like Yuki was having a great time.
A Horrible Diagnosis
In November 2020, the sanctuary found out that Yuki the wolfdog, who they loved very much, had cancer. They were shocked by the news because Yuki had always been so healthy and happy. They were disappointed to find that he wouldn't make it, but they were glad that they had taken a risk on him and given him a decent life in his last days. And that's what was most important.
All About Education
Kent and Nancy were motivated after taking care of Yuki for so long. While they were grieving the death of their beloved wolfdog, they started to doubt the wolfdog breed as a whole. So, they decided to buy more land in Florida to aid even more wolfdogs in need and teach more people about the breed. They thought it was their duty and understood they had to help.
A Strange Visitor
The Shy Wolf Sanctuary had a place where they could take care of Yuki the wolfdog, but Bee wasn't as lucky. She was actually just sitting on her veranda at home in Queensland when her stray dog came to see her. And that stray was a lovely lorikeet with the most brilliant colors she had ever seen. She had seen these birds before, but she had never seen them fly in her house.
Giving Him Some Attention
It looked like the lorikeet was having a hard time. He was puffing up his feathers, and he looked tired and like he was trying to catch his breath. He nuzzled against her right away as he saw that Bee was a nice person. Bee was very astonished by this unexpected turn of events, but she could tell that the bird needed some help. So she gave it to him.
Bizarre Behavior
Bee lived in the tropics of Australia, so she was used to watching beautiful and weird birds soar by her window. And even though she liked them from a distance, she had never seen one up close and personal before. This made her curious about what had happened to the tiny kid who was snuggled up in her garments. It was clear that he had been scared by anything or hurt on a long travel. In either case, she wanted to help.
