This makes me think of all the restless nights I spent taking care of my younger siblings. We didn't have any fun during those days, but they wouldn't go to bed or be quiet, so they developed into sleepless nights. This photo just has that kind of vibe. We don't know why that's the case, but we assume that's simply part of what makes New York so great. We've seen this big dog in the shape of a person many times.

People say you shouldn't judge a book by its cover. That said, you probably shouldn't judge a tree before it has a chance to grow from a seed. So, if those two facts are true, you should never try to guess how big a dog will get merely by looking at him as a puppy. We guess that Mother Nature constantly finds a way to surprise us.

We need to discuss about this dog's amazing growth spurt, though. We didn't know dogs could get so big. I guess dogs don't start off huge; they grow into it.

These days, nights that we wouldn't have thought of as "drinking nights" just a few years ago have left us feeling like this picture. We feel bad for this dog because we know what he's going through.
