1. Diabetes

A lot of dogs have a metabolism problem called diabetes mellitus, which is often known as "sugar diabetes." Because of this, a lot of dogs are put to death or given medicine for the rest of their lives. Dogs with diabetes may pee more, drink more, and lose weight even though they eat the same amount of food or more. The dogs' nutrition is primarily to blame, and it may be avoided by keeping an eye on what they consume.
2. Obesity

You could say that obesity is a widespread problem for pet dogs. More than half of all canines in the US are affected. Obesity is even worse because it can cause additional health conditions that can kill you, such cancer, diabetes, and arthritis. Dogs get fat because they don't move around enough and don't eat the right foods for their nutritional needs.
3. Bladder Stones and Infections

The diet of dogs has a direct effect on the production of bladder stones. Bladder stones can start out small, but they can get bigger over time and create problems like urine that is discolored, trouble urinating, and urinary accidents. If you catch them early enough, you can dissolve bladder stones with food. If not, surgery is the only alternative. On the other hand, germs cause bladder infections because of problems with digestion.
4. Pancreatitis

When the pancreas gets inflamed, it causes pancreatitis, which stops regular digestion. The dog starts to display signs of pancreatitis, such as vomiting, not wanting to eat, and stomach pain. Experts in pet nutrition say that the amount of fat in a dog's diet is closely tied to whether or not they get pancreatitis. Start providing your dog a diet that is low in fat and easy to digest if it has pancreatitis.
5. Heart Disease

Dogs can get heart disease just like people do when they don't eat a balanced diet. Not getting enough exercise is another reason dogs get heart disease, but the primary one is eating poorly. Dogs have heart disease because they've been eating "people food" and inexpensive grocery store chow for years. Don't give your dog any food that is heavy in salt and fat.
6. Diarrhea

Dogs often have diarrhea because they eat something they shouldn't have. But if it lasts for more than a few days, their digestion isn't working right. Long-term diarrhea might potentially kill your dog if it isn't handled.
